Bethany Edgecombe
Counselor
Hello! I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Social
Work, after which I graduated from Lincoln Christian University in 2006 with a Master’s degree
in Counseling. I have worked in a variety of professional settings including community mental
health/substance abuse counseling, crisis intervention, senior services, and child welfare. I
became a stay at home mom shortly after having all three of our children and worked at the
hardest job I will ever have. After our youngest began school, I began working for one of our
District schools as a Parent Coordinator and Paraprofessional, and enjoyed working in the
school setting for approximately four years, until it led me to Tri-County. I am excited to join the
staff of Tri-County Special Education Association as a Parent Liaison/Counselor. Together, we
will work diligently at enabling students who have, or are at-risk of, disabilities to achieve
age-appropriate outcomes and to be meaningfully included in the life of their schools and
communities.
