Sometimes helping a child overcome a disability is like piecing together a quilt. Here is an example of how little steps and persistence can create a "pattern" for success.
I am an occupational therapist working mainly in the Logan County schools. I have over 30 years in the school system. I also have a master's degrees in special education which makes it easier for me to understand concerns of the classroom teachers. I enjoy working with all ages of children and abilities. Handwriting and assistive technology are areas of particular interest for me. I strive to help each child benefit from his or her education program and to reach their maximum potential.
